Today is the day: my very first zine is published and ready for sale.
Before I speak a bit about the zine itself and the process of making it, I'd first like to thank everyone who has supported me throughout this process. I've had wonderful advice from many different creators, and I don't think this zine would be the same without it. Thank you.
As many of you will be aware, I've been collecting zines for a while now, and I've produced a number of articles taking a closer at them - click here to see these articles. I've really enjoyed producing these, and I'm sure that I will continue to do so. After taking inspiration from many of these zines, I have produced my first zine: LIFELESS.
As for what the zine entails, I don't wish to spoil it for you, though I will say it is a typology of mannequins. If you'd like to purchase a copy, then please direct message me on Instagram here. The zine itself costs £12 + postage. Each zine comes with a unique 6x4 print that I used in the planning process. I will be sharing more information regarding my process for producing this zine and why I decided on some creative choices, though I wish to give people a chance to experience the zine in person before publishing that article.
