Amy Paterson's 2019 Goals

So in 2019 I want to:

Shoot more BW.

I have a few shoot ideas I would like to see through and possibly make one into a zine.

I want to start doing New Baby Family Sessions so I'm afraid there will probably be lots more babies and kids featured. 😆

The usual photos of my family and from any trips we make through the year.

More Intro to Film Photo Walks spread out the year.

Need to replace film scanner as I'm desperate to get scanning all the slides my mum gave me that were taken mostly by my dad in their younger days.

And really want to get Kit (5 next month) out shooting more too.

This is part of the 2019 GOALS series. If you’d like to see the 2019 GOALS of our other featured artists, check out the other articles here.

My name is Amy, I'm 32 and I live in Ayrshire, Scotland with my husband, Kevin and our two little boys, Kit and Asa.

I've been inconsistently shooting film for the last fifteen or so years.  My parents bought me my first SLR camera - a Pentax MZ-M - while I was at high school. I had shown an interest in photography (I've recently written an essay on my love for film, you can find it on my website) and so when I passed some exams off we went to Glasgow for a camera.
