My name’s Steve, I’m 27 and based in Leeds, UK. I enjoy shooting a variety of subjects on any format from 35mm to 8x10, and, as a darkroom enthusiast, I love wet-printing my black and white work. Recently I’ve been exploring alternative processes such as Cyanotypes, as well as making my own silver-gelatin dry plates, using paper negatives and building my own primitive cameras for an upcoming project.
Recently, I’ve fallen back in love with colour, having produced my latest project using cross processed film from disposable cameras. I’m also a photography instructor at Leeds Arts University, and consider myself lucky to be able to surround myself with photography and share my passion for the craft of ‘old-school’ photography.
